Events and Prize List
Below are the different types of tournaments you can enter at PurePlay as a Basic or a Player's Club Member. Each tournament listing tells you what it takes to enter. The prize list shows what you can win based on your finish place.
Check your stats page to see your current poker point total and for cash prize awards and payment status. To claim cash prizes you are required to submit proper documentation. (The required documents can also be found on your stats page by clicking the Prize Status button). When your documents have been received, you will be sent a check for your winnings.
$10,000/World Series Final
The $10,000/World Series Final takes place on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 3 PM EST. The first place winner of the PurePlay $10,000/World Series Final will win their choice of either $10,000 USD or a seat in the 2009 World Series of Poker* held in Las Vegas.
How do I enter the $10,000/World Series Final Tournament?
- Place in any $10,000/World Series Qualifier Tournament to earn a $10,000/World Series Entry (see the tournament lobby of any Qualifier or click here for the specific entry awards). Use your $10,000/World Series Entry to enter any $10,000/World Series Semi-Final.
- Place in the top 5 of any $10,000/World Series Semi-Final to advance to the $10,000/World Series Final.
- Compete in the PurePlay $10,000/World Series Final on Sunday, November 30, 2008 for a chance at your choice of either $10,000 USD or a seat in the World Series of Poker* Main Event held in Las Vegas in July 2009.

- Place in any $10,000/World Series Qualifier Tournament to earn a $10,000/World Series Entry (see the tournament lobby of any Qualifier or click here for the specific entry awards).
- Use your $10,000/World Series Entry to enter any $10,000/World Series Semi-Final.
- You may enter as many $10,000/World Series Semi-Final Tournaments as you wish (if you have enough $10,000/World Series Entries) but you can only qualify for the $10,000/World Series Final Tournament once.
How do I enter a $10,000/World Series Qualifier Tournament?
- $10,000/World Series Qualifier Tournaments have an entry fee of 40, 80, 200 or 300 Poker Points (depending on the structure of the Qualifier). To see the full list of $10,000/World Series Qualifier Tournaments click here.
- You may enter as many $10,000/World Series Qualifier Tournaments as you wish (if you have enough $10,000/World Series Entries) but you can only qualify for the $10,000/World Series Final Tournament once.
Note: $10,000/World Series Semi-Final Entries expire on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 12:01 AM ET and are no longer valid after this time. Be sure to use any entries you have acquired before then.
